Complimentary snack cakes and Nespresso coffee in room. Dinner buffet and breakfast buffet service include traditional Japanese cuisine such as tonkatsu, tempura, curry, sashimi, and Western items like roast beef, pasta, seafood paella. Many varieties of fresh vegetables and sliced fruit to mix your own salad. Onsen water is hotter than expected, but I felt comfortable after soaking for about 15 minutes and improve my sleep. Hotel has ramps for wheelchair users to access the main dining hall and lobby. Complimentary shuttle bus between hotel and Kusatsu Onsen bus terminal, and from hotel to the yubatake.

Dinner and breakfast was all you can eat and the food was fabulous. There were so many variety that I couldn’t sample them all but what I did have were all delicious. In the morning they had fresh squeezed orange juice where you can see the machine squeezing the oranges. How much fresher can it get. Refreshing and Delicious! Relaxed in the huge onsen and enjoyed the oar and drum performance. We had to leave early in the morning and the hotel was able to accommodate our request and shuttle us to the bus stop at a non scheduled time. Thank you Sakurai hotel. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Ellen

Wonderful, authentic experience. In particular the attendant who checked us in (Laky) was extremely helpful for letting us know what the customs and rules are, especially since we didn't speak Japanese. We would have missed out on a lot without his guidance. The accomodations we facilities were clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The food was tasty. The location being walking distance from the town center was convenient.

Arturo

Great food, surprisingly good and really great buffet. Good accessibility support for my mom who can't walk well or long distance, have REALLY good English speaking staff which helps a lot. Will stay again. Comfy place. TBH photos and brand logo doesn't do it justice. It's really lots better when in person. They have a symphony cake which is SOOOOO good.

Ellie

The experience was excellent. The staff was very friendly and used to dealing with english speakers, the food was great with a lot of choice, and of course the baths were relaxing and not crowded at all. At this time of the year, it is quite cold outside so make sure to have warm clothes ready. Visiting the town while it was snowing was really great.
